FAQs

How much does the Festival cost to attend?

It’s Free!

You can enjoy world class blues performances in a great urban setting for free! Our Thursday night fundraising concert is the only ticketed event.

You can also contribute to the success and sustainability of the Festival by donating at one of our donation stations.

What about parking?

Check out this LINK for parking in Kitchener.

Introducing Bikecheck!

When you ride your bike to an event with Bikecheck, you can hand your bike to one of our attendants and then enjoy the event without having to worry about your bike! All bikes must be picked up within 15 minutes of the event ending.

Our Bikecheck location is in Victoria Park close to the Clocktower. Look for the signs

Is there sponsor seating?

There are sponsor areas at the YNC Stage at City Hall and the OLG Clocktower Stage. Tickets are not sold. They are part of our sponsorship packages and provided to sponsors as part of their benefits. If you want to learn more about sponsorship opportunities please contact us by using the link in our footer to take advantage of a range of customized opportunities available to you.

Festival accessibility?

Persons requiring accessibility requirements should contact us via email at info@kitchenerbluesfestival.com. Support persons require a full priced ticket for admission.

Are there places to fill water bottles? *New for 2024*

There will be 2 water-fill stations this year!

One is located just inside the main gates at the YNC stage with thanks to The City of Kitchener.

Another will be located at the OLG Victoria Park sponsored by Downtown Kitchener Business Improvement Area (DTK BIA).

What kind of seating is there at the festival?

All festival seating is available on a first come first served basis, other than the reserved GOLD seating provided at the Thursday ticketed fundraising concert.

Seating at both the OLG Clocktower Stage at Victoria Park and the Europro BIA Stage will remain the same as they have been in recent years. Only festival provided chairs are permitted inside the tent. All other chairs may be used outside of the tents as long as they do not interfere with any exit points.

We are excited to reveal a new layout at the YNC Stage at City Hall. We will have a Bring your own Chair (BYOC) designated area on the east sidewalk beside the Carl Zehr Square area within the expanded licensed area for festival guests who choose to bring their own chairs. Please note that KBF will not be providing seating at this site as we have in the past.

Festival guests that have purchased Gold Tickets or Sponsor Passes will have access to designated seating areas for the YNC City and OLG Clocktower stages (subject to capacity).
